If you were to guess how many hours you spend on social media per day how many would you say? Whatever the number is, you’re probably a little embarrassed by how much time it takes up.
According to my wife (validated here), people are spending over 2 hours per day on social media. 2 hours and 22 minutes to be exact. That’s crazy! To put that into perspective, that’s one month of your year. One month of your year on social media. Wow. By no means am I immune to this. I still spend way too much time scrolling through Twitter and
I don’t really see this trend slowing down (it’s clearly not when you look at the chart below), at least in terms of how much time people are now spending on their phones and immersed in a screened world. However, the first thing I think of when hearing a stat like this is how much more efficient people (including myself) could be if we greatly reduced our social media addiction and this is something I’m going to make a conscious effort to reduce in the coming weeks and months. Now back to refresh my Twitter feed…

Hi! Well i try to expend my free time doing productive stuff, but still i check Facebook every once in a while, just to see the lastest news. I guess social medias have become a really important part of our daily routine. Can’t really deny that…
